Abstract :
The authors investigated a characteristics of a full superconducting generator including machine reactances, eddy current loss of damper and that of SUS structural member in the rotor. A 2-dimensional analysis is carried out on a model full superconducting generator which has a capacity of 600 MVA. The AC loss of the superconducting armature winding is estimated.
