Abstract
In linear pulse motor ("LPM"), micro-step drive is expected for increasing use in the future.[1]. The reporters devised 2-phase/8- pole LPM by improving the magnetic circuit of a motor so that the difference in thrust characteristics among excitation phases eliminated and stable control performance is available for micro-step drive.
