Abstract
In relation to current or magnetic sensor using an amorphous core, a new method of measuring the magnitude of fluctuations in its hysteresis loop as a magnetic noise is proposed. This clarifies behaviors of magnetic noise as a function of magnetizing level in the loop. The experimental results lead to a conclusion that Co-based core is superior to Ni-Iron-based one from a point of view of the noise level.
