Abstract
A blood circulation simulator is proposed on the assumption that the blood circulation system of living bodies is a system operated by two pumps, the heart pump and the peripheral pump. System configuration is described of a blood circulation simulator for which the two pumps mentioned above are constructed with linear DC motors, and a calculation is made of pulmonary arterial pressure for the operation of both the pumps in synchronous states. A comparison has revealed a similarity of the calculated values of pulmonary arterial pressure to observed values, verifying the applicability of the simulator. The characteristics of the LDMs used for the simulator also were established.
