Abstract :
Expressions are given for the expected value, variance, and worst-case degradation of the equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) of an antenna array subject to random errors in the excitation coefficients. These expressions apply to passive as well as active arrays fed with several amplifiers. An example is presented that demonstrates the applicability of the analysis to active arrays.
