Abstract :
The proceedings of the APS/URSI Plenary Session held in Boston on June 27, 1984 are described. Invited papers covering early developments in antennas and propagation were presented by five pioneering experts who participated in the developments. Speakers were encouraged to give anecdotal presentations that made specific reference to their own contributions. The speakers were Joseph B. Keller, William E. Gordon, John D. Kraus, George Sinclair, and Harold A. Wheeler. Chairman of the special session was Edward C. Jordan. Manuscripts were compiled by Y. T. Lo and E. C. Jordan.
