Abstract
The author continues the Info Age series with an example or two of companies that have made the grade in the toughest Info Age FutureBusiness of all-the commodity-driven computer business. I claim that corporate survival depends on how well a company executes one or more basic Info Age principles. I look at the so-called box builders-the manufacturers who create platforms for doing FutureBusiness, considering Digital Equipment, IBM, Sun, Compaq, and HP
