Abstract :
An approach to 2-D narrowband low-pass filter with circular symmetry is presented. This approach uses a cascade structure of a simple 2-D prefilter and a McClellan-transformed 1-D finite impulse response (FIR) equalizer. If the desired filter is not of the narrowband type, the proposed approach loses its effectiveness because one cannot take the advantage of the simple prefilter.<>
