Abstract :
A technique for the computation of the magnitude and phase of 2-D systems is presented. This technique is based on the extension of the 1-D algorithm described by R.A. Richards and C.T. Mullis (1987). The algorithm does not require any complex arithmetic and can be programmed more efficiently than the conventional method, using a personal computer with the necessary hardware to perform floating-point arithmetic operations
