Abstract :
Measured bit-error-rate performance is reported for two-channel bidirection and single-direction transmission systems operating at 565 Mbit/s and 280 Mbit/s and incorporating an amplifier repeater. Acceptable levels of crosstalk were seen on these systems, which were constructed to address problems likely to be seen in a practical implementation.
