Abstract :
The authors have developed a video detection system that not only reduces buzz and buzz-beat interference which deteriorate the sound quality of television receivers but also improves the picture quality. They describe the PIF+SIF (picture intermediate frequency+sound intermediate frequency) IC used in the detection system. They outline the PIF system configuration and detail the new detection system and its performance
