Abstract :
An analytical method based on the aperture coupling theory and S-parameter matrix has been developed for modelling a microstripline coupled to a microstrip antenna using a circular coupling aperture. The theoretical results agree fairly well with the measurements. The analysis should have many applications in active array developments.
