  • Abstract
    A word generator using a delay-line travelling-pulse concept similar to the well known travelling-wave amplifier is presented. Operation up to 8.8 Gbit/s has been demonstrated experimentally. The circuits are realised in the hybrid microstrip technique using discrete normally-on GaAs MESFETs.
