Abstract
A novel microstrip balanced mixer circuit has been developed with over 40% bandwidth. The circuit uses two coupling rings for RF and LO inputs. A conversion loss of less than 8dB has been achieved for the RF frequency swept from 13 to 23 GHz with an LO signal at 25 GHz.
