Abstract
A novel video system consisting of a television set and VCR, which uses source addition to make all RF channels available to both components, is described. The system also addresses applications such as connection to an external Hi-Fi sound system, and slave TV sets may be daisy-chained using coaxial cable in other rooms, with all source material shared with the main system. The system permits full remote control of all channels and includes a modulated UHF output. Full provisions are made for CATV RF decoders as well as baseband decoding. Performance results are presented
