  • Abstract
    The circuit and the operation of an SCR frequency tripler are described. The modes of operation are discussed and the circuit behavior is analyzed for different output conditions. An approximate equivalent circuit is used to describe the load conditions. Experimental results are shown for the open-circuited, short-circuited, and loaded frequency tripler.
