Abstract :
The computation time required for the tetrahedral method of computing scattering and absorption by dielectric bodies has been reduced by using single-point integration quadratures for most of the matrix elements. This results in a nearly Galerkin formulation and yields results that are as good as or better than the original formulation in about one-half the time.
