  • Abstract
By now, the necessity of backing up data networks is obvious. How to do it in an open, heterogeneous computing environment is not as obvious. Vital as it is, backup for heterogeneous networks will remain a problem until standards are implemented. A list is given of tape back up systems including 8 mm tape, DAT, DC6000, DC2000 and TEAC.<>
