Abstract :
We demonstrate a minimum detectable field of 0.2×10-6 gauss (RMS)/¿(Hz) at 10 Hz which increases to 2×10-6gauss (RMS)/¿(Hz) at 0.1 Hz in a fibre-optic magnetometer. Factors which limit the sensitivity of the device are discussed.
