Abstract :
A frequency control system utilizing a magnetic amplifier is described. The frequency control is applied to a dynamotor where the accuracy must be ±0.1 per cent over a range of temperature, input voltage, and load. A qualitative description of the system is given, along with performance data gathered from tests on a prototype model.
