Abstract
A uniform diffraction coefficient is derived for a thin dielectric half-plane illuminated by an
-polarized incident plane wave. This is accomplished by modeling the half-plane using a pair of resistive and modified conductive sheets and then solving the resulting integral equations via the Wiener-Hopf technique. In contrast to a recently published solution, the one presented here satisfies reciprocity, and the numerical results which are included confirm its accuracy.
