Abstract :
Recent advancements in highly efficient power machinery have created demands for super accurate speed measurements. Developments in magnetic recording and high-speed electronic counters have made extremely accurate speed measurements possible. A tachometer, accurate to better than ± 0.03 per cent, is described in this paper.
