Abstract
The singular integral equation of the diffraction by thin metallic wires is used to determine the current distribution on a infinite periodic structure in two dimensions. The periodic cell is constituted by thin wires joined or not joined between the cells. The current distribution on parallel and planar meander lines induced by a plane wave of any incidence and polarization is studied. The current is obtained by a matrix inversion deduced from a convenient segmentation of the cell.
