Abstract :
A novel monolithic impedance transformer based on super-conducting microstrip has been constructed and tested. The transformer contacts devices on the substrate surface via an evaporated ground plane. Bandwidths of 25% at an impedance transformation of 50 : 0.5¿ was achieved at 9 GHz.
