Abstract :
A novel design for a UMTS diplexer using dual-mode rectangular stripline-ring resonators is proposed. The diplexer comprises two parallel-oriented rectangular stripline-rings and a connecting line between them. The degenerate-mode resonance is used to form the diplexer´s Tx and Rx-bands, and a method to improve the isolation is also proposed in this circuit design.
