  • Abstract
    Acoustic directional couplers for guided surface acoustic waves have been developed for application in a weighted acousto-optical TE-TM convertor in LiNbO3. Tapering of the coupling strength is achieved by longitudinally sin2-varying acoustic power providing a filter response with strongly suppressed sidelobes.
