Abstract :
The fluorine (F) concentration dependence of the viscosity of F-doped silica glass is investigated experimentally. It is confirmed for the first time that the viscosity of F-doped silica glass depends on the F concentration and that the viscosity difference between pure silica and F-doped silica glasses increases as the temperature decreases.
