  • Abstract
    A study of the performance of high-capacity nonsoliton and soliton systems, transmitting on long-haul links, is presented taking into consideration both single- and multichannel capabilities. The results show the methods to reach a total capacity of 40 Gbit/s in a link 2000 km long.
