Abstract :
Two variable-speed, constant-frequency generating systems are tested on the MOD-0 experimental wind turbine to quantify the harmonic currents and voltages at the connecting point to the utility system. The total harmonic current and voltage distortions are calculated and compared to those calculated for an induction generator, which is taken as the base system
