Abstract :
Millimeter-wave antenna array with 45 ° linear polarization (LP) is introduced and demonstrated in this letter. A substrate integrated waveguide (SIW)-fed rod antenna is used as a basic radiating element for implementing LP antenna array. A 4 × 4 planar array is constructed by using a 1:16 power divider and 16 rod antennas. Measured average peak gain of 17.5 dBi is recorded over a frequency range from 57 to 64 GHz. The proposed antenna features a small footprint, showing a good millimeter-wave radiation behavior.
