Editorial

We never cease to be amazed at the diversity and quantity of short research papers in modern electronics and electrical engineering that are sent to Electronics Letters each year. With nearly 4 000 letters submitted in 2008, it is a pleasing reminder of the reputation that Electronics Letters has for being a high-quality, highly visible publication which is able to grow and reflect the rapid movements in electrical engineering related science and technology research.
