Breaking the deadlock

In this paper, the latest developments in the new world of mobile TV are discussed. Most mobile TV is an extension of traditional television by other means, offering familiar channels on the same schedule but to a personal and/or portable device. The DVB project is an industry-led consortium of nearly 300 broadcasters, manufacturers and network operators in 35 countries aiming to create interoperable and open standards for the global delivery of digital media services.DVB-T is the project´s standard for digital television broadcast to terrestrial devices. Mobile television broadcasting depends on 3G.
