Abstract
A summary of measurements of radiative lifetimes for 34 separate upper laser levels in noble-gas ion systems is presented. The technique used is pulsed excitation by threshold-energy electron impact followed by multichannel delayed-coincidence analysis. Results are specifically given for the
states of Ne+, the
states of Ar+, the
states of Kr+, and the
states of Xe+. The errors in measurement range from ≈ 2 to 6 percent.
