Abstract :

addressing of a 7 × 5 matrix electrophoretic image display is possible through a multilevel voltage select scheme in which a maximum of 8 different voltage levels are placed on the 12 row and column electrodes. With this scheme it is possible to write 61 of the 64 ASCII alphanumeric characters.
