Abstract :
In an experimental study of the properties of a double-beam plasma device where the drive plasma was separated from the target plasma by a hemispherical separating screen, three Maxwellian energy groups of electrons appeared whenever an ion beam was sent from the driver plasma to target plasma. A method is given for determining the densities and temperatures of these energy groups
