Comments on "A new approach to the theory and modeling of IGFET\´s

The El-Mansy and Boothroyd MOSFET model is shown to be inconsistent. Therefore, MOSFET characteristics predicted by this model are not logical consequences of their assumed form for the minority carrier density Qm. Moreover, their derivation and heuristic arguments in favor of Qmare faulty. These circumstances leave the physical origin of Qma mystery.
