Abstract :
A new primary thermal noise standard for the waveguide band R140 is presented. The modular configuration of the standard, which consists of three parts, enables its thermal and electrical properties to be accurately determined. A monitoring assembly for the transmission line of the standard is investigated by means of attenuation and noise power measuring methods
