Abstract :
In order to establish a frequency standard in the visible, the frequency of a dye laser, stabilized to the Ca intercombination line at λ=657 nm, has to be compared with the frequency of the primary standard of time and frequency. Relying on the existing frequency chain at PTB to the infrared, the realization of the missing intermediate frequency multiplication steps from a CO2 laser, phase locked to the Cs clock, to the Ca-stabilized dye laser is reported
