Abstract :
A new laser oscillation has been observed in a pulsed discharge of He and SnCl4. This oscillation at 1.061 μm corresponds to the 5s5p^{3} \\hbox{ }^{3}D^{\\circ}_{1} \\longrightarrow 5s^{2}5p6p \\hbox{ }^{3}P_{2} transition in Sn(I).
