Abstract
A hybrid magnet system generating a maximum field strength of 30.4 T has been tested successfully and put into operation. A short overview is given of the present installations and the operating characteristics of the hybrid magnet, Nijmegen II, and its ancillary components such as the cryogenerator, 2000-A power supply for the superconducting coil, the dump resistor, and quench detector.
