Abstract :
By using a proper transformation of state variables, the third-order system of parallel resonant convertor with LLC-type commutation (PRC-LLC) can be analysed by means of a two-dimensional state-plane diagram. A set of characteristic curves is derived from the analysis, based on which a comparison between the present convertor and the conventional PRC is given. It is concluded from the results that the convertor possesses more desirable features than the conventional PRC
