Abstract :
A newly developed 1.5 μm wavelength tunable phase-shift controlled distributed feedback laser diode (DFB LD) is presented. An almost constant spectral linewidth from 24 to 29 MHz has been achieved over a tuning range as wide as 110 GHz (9.0 Å)
