Abstract :
An electronic iron controller designed for gate array implementation is presented. For detecting the horizontal and vertical positions of the electronic iron, a motion detection input is provided for the controller. The electronic iron controller has several timing requirements for the horizontal and vertical positions. A frequency selection input pin is provided to cater to a mains frequency of 50 or 60 Hz. A buzzer output is provided by the controller for time-out purposes
