Abstract :
The TV broadcast will be able to disseminate data to a wider area and a greater number of users simultaneously at a nominal fee. The authors developed and tested the network-based RTK-GPS positioning using the area correction parameter (FKP) via the TV audio subcarrier channel (ASC) broadcasting on the ground in Japan. They investigated network-based RTK-GPS positioning at a fixed point located inside the GPS reference station network area.
