Abstract :
An advanced microprocessor laboratory is presented, along with the corresponding set of experiments used for teaching a microprocessor interfacing and communication course in electrical and computer engineering. Six experiments are described, consisting of both hardware and software designs. Particular attention is given to the integrating of programmable peripheral components (such as parallel, serial, analog, and human interfaces) to microprocessors
