Abstract :
This paper is intended to present an outline and a discussion of thevarious aspects and areas of application of electrical insulation forhigh voltage. The specific objectives of the applications will beparticularly pointed out, and the present state of the art indicated.Also, the relation of basic dielectric research, and research and developmentent scientists to the apparatus design and manufacturing engineers willbe discussed.
