Abstract :
We have produced peak pulse powers of ≃0.6 MW at 496 μm, predominantly confined to the transform limited linewidth of 30 MHz. The system employed is a scaled-up version of the previously reported [1] linearly pumped CH3F oscillator-amplifier.
