Abstract :
Tube transmitters for outputs from 500 watts to 20 kilowatts, and for continuous wave and interrupted continuous wave telegraphy and telephony are described in detail. The essential elements of such transmitters are discussed. Data are given on the characteristics of various power tubes and rectifiers, and a statement relative to the expectation of life of a tube.
