  • Abstract
    Recent progress in the fabrication of tunnel junction with the high-Tctransition-metal compound and transition-metal alloy superconductors is reviewed. The potential advantages of these materials for practical applications are described and their special problems assessed. It is found that, based on work to date, Nb3Sn may have practical device potential.
