Abstract
An improved practical method of quantitative Kerr microscopy is demonstrated. While in the original approach the sample was saturated to obtain a calibration of the Kerr contrast, the calibration is now derived by assigning interactively the magnetization direction to regions of the image for which it is obvious. Then, the rest of the image is accordingly evaluated. Therefore, only two complementary domain images are needed for quantitative magnetic microscopy
